Amusement fit for a King (Entertainment and Leisure)
The members of the Palace Spirit Team are the masters of ceremony of Herods Eilat.Every day they appear unexpectedly, popping out of one of the hotels or towers, to relate a passage from a story or an Oriental legend.The guests become part of the developing narrative, and nobody knows exactly what fate is in store for the characters.Don’t worry, you don’t have to play an active role in the story if you don’t want to, and the characters won’t disturb your peace.
In July and August the entertainment activity takes place around the Big Lake – the Herods Forum swimming pool.
Performances by artists in classic style are held in the Royal Performance Hall, Laurence Hall and the Four Spirits Lobby, including well-known hits and cover versions of hits, from jazz and chansons to all-time pop and rock hits.
Morning in the Palace Courtyard
The crown princes and princesses are the special guests of the Palace Spirit Team, and every day all the children and their parents are invited to engage in activity on the banks of the Royal Lake – the Herods Palace swimming pool. Soft music, games, inflatables, craft workshops, balloons, drumming and more, for a fun-filled morning fit for a king.
In July and August, when the sun beats down and energy levels rise, everybody is invited for lively activities on the banks of the Royal Lake, also known as the Herods Forum swimming pool, with lively music, pool fun, water games and a DJ who doesn’t let the young guests rest for a single moment.
Mysterious Edomite Nights – Café Baghdad
The members of the Palace Spirit Team recreate the legend of the Edomite King Herod, gathering various characters together in one place, including a storyteller who recounts some of the legends of the Oriental Palace, a mysterious belly dancer and a tarot card reader.
Every evening, families gather in the Laurence Hall in the Herods Palace, for performances intended for audiences of all ages: Puppet shows, magic shows, a dog circus and acrobat circus for children, and, in the late evening, quizzes and games with prizes, followed by the principal entertainment show.Between the shows guest artists from faraway kingdoms perform – acrobats and circus artists, an international cabaret and an illusion and telepathy show.When night draws near, the guests of Herods Eilat gather for fun-filled dance parties and karaoke evenings.
The Herods Eilat Prince and Princess Wing
The children’s activity center is located on the Herods Palace pool level and is intended for guest princes and princesses aged 2 and above. The center is open daily between the hours of 10:00 and 17:00, and during the summer vacation between the hours of 10:00 and 19:00.
The Prince and Princess Club is equipped with a Gymboree room, PlayStation room, craft workshops, game machine room and a film screening room with a giant screen.A devoted professional counselor supervises the princes and princesses in their activities. Children aged 5 and under must be accompanied by their parents.
Closed circuit TV cameras operate in the Prince and Princess Wing during all the hours of activity. Parents can watch their children having fun and supervise their activity via the TV in their room at Herods Eilat.
